July was undoubtedly my toughest month this year and if not, one of the toughest.
I remember telling friends prior to July that I had no clue how I was going to get through it.
It almost felt like an impossible number of tasks to take on and not enough time overcome them.
At the same time, July turned out to be my most rewarding month if not one of them.
In a blink of an eye, July went by and this picture was taken.
Here I am looking out into the water reflecting on everything that took place during the month.
I could not help but think of how I felt the complete opposite at the beginning of it.
There was only one word that I kept in the back of my head that got me through it all.
That word was tenacity.
Here is what I know tenacity to be:
“The degree to which you persist, commit to, stick with, and relentlessly go after whatever you choose to achieve.”
I knew that if stayed the course I could accomplish everything I needed to and more.
Sure enough, I stayed the course.
Now I sit here on my desk, late on a Monday after a long day of work, sharing with you my most recent moment of G.R.I.T. and I could not be prouder.
Stay the course.
Remember tenacity.
You are almost there.
